Brotherhood & Sisterhood Mentoring-Chicago is a faith-based, trauma-informed mentoring program, dedicated to supporting youth through mentorship, career- focused development, and building
positive relationships.
Our program strengthens relationship skills, responsibility, and decision-making as young people navigate through personal life, education, and the journey toward manhood &
womanhood.
Through team collaboration, values-driven teaching, and real-world exposure, Brotherhood & Sisterhood helps youth build confidence, identity, and character.
We are committed to re-engaging disconnected youth across Chicago, combining: Trauma-Informed Mentoring, Career-Focused Development, and Relationship Formation.
As our platform grows, we are committed to casting a wider net to impact young people across Chicago. This is possible through our initiatives:
Mentorship Program – Brotherhood & Sisterhood
The Brotherhood and Sisterhood Mentoring Program builds strong, consistent relationships with youth while introducing them to the 8 Core Marks of Manhood and Womanhood. Through weekly sessions, mentoring connections, and values‑based guidance, students grow in character, responsibility, emotional
maturity, and leadership.
College & Trade Scholarship Program
This program prepares young people for life after high school by teaching the fundamentals of college preparation, trade pathways, financial aid, career exploration, and academic planning. Youth
receive hands‑on support to understand their options and build confidence in choosing the right path.
Career & Community Work Program
The Career & Community Connection Program equips youth with real‑life skills and workforce readiness. We partner with community organizations and local businesses to provide summer jobs, internships, service opportunities, and career exposure. Students learn professionalism, communication, teamwork, and responsibility through real‑world experience.
